Dress Code

The purpose of the dress code is for students to have a sense of pride in themselves and in their school. Students are expected to be in full uniform unless permission has been granted by the principal. There is no uniform requirement for students in kindergarten.

• Students’ hair should be clean, combed and worn in a respectable style.
• Students may wear only appropriate jewelry in limited quantities.
• The principal has the authority to monitor and if necessary alter the dress code.

Girls’ Uniform

• Green plaid jumper
• Yellow blouse- long or short sleeves
• Plaid tie
• Green knee socks or tights
• Suitable shoes*

Boys’ Uniform

• Green uniform pants
• Yellow Shirt- long or short sleeves
• Bow ties grades 1 & 2
• Long plaid ties grades 3–8
• Dress shoes*

*Shoes must be a solid color.Sneakers are only allowed to be worn on gym days.

Sweater may be worn in the cool weather. The sweater may be a green crew neck cardigan, a V-neck, a long sleeved pullover or a V-neck sleeveless pullover. Sweatshirts are not allowed except on gym days.

Gym Uniform

Students are required to wear a gym uniform to physical education classes. The uniform consists of a school issued green T-shirt, sweatshirt and shorts. Hunter green sweat pants must be purchased by the parent/guardian.
