Saint Jude School

Tuition Information-April 2009

The following Tuition Schedule, School Fees and policies have been recommended by the Saint Jude School Advisory Board and approved by Father Leonard, our pastor, for the 2009-2010 school year.

Registration Fee

• Kindergarten $ 400.00
• Grades 1 through 8 $ 300.00

Tuition Rate

• 1 Child $3,825.00
• 2 Children $7,250.00
• 3 Children $10,550.00
• 4 Children $11,550.00

Service Hours

In addition to the tuition rate there is an additional 30 hours of service. Service hours may be performed in many ways; at least five of the service hours should be performed in a fund raising activity. Twenty-five hours may be "bought off" this arrangement is made through the school office.

Membership

Membership in the Friends of Saint Jude is obligatory. The dues are $25.00 per family per year. This also covers the cost of the School
Roster. Each family will receive a copy of the School Roster.

Fund Raiser

One hundred per cent family participation in the major fund raiser each year is required. The School Advisory Board approved the Barnyard Bingo for the 2009-2010 major fund raiser. Each family is required to sell or purchase at least ten (10) Barnyard Bingo deeds.

CLARIFICATION

Registration Fees

The Registration Fee is paid in advance... it is non-refundable and holds the child's seat. Payment is due on or before May 31, 2009.

Tuition

Tuition is payable in ten (10) installments beginning in July and completed in April.

Transcripts

Transfers, transcripts and/or applications to other school will be withheld if tuition is delinquent, that is not paid to date at the time of the request, not necessarily paid in full.

Service Hours

In addition to the tuition there is a "service hour" policy. Parents are asked to volunteer a minimum of thirty (30) hours of service per family. If this is not possible you may pay an additional fee at a rate of ten dollars ($10.00) per hour. The Friends of Saint Jude will explain the "service hour" policy at the first meeting of the new school year.

Barnyard Bingo

The sale or purchase of ten deeds is mandatory. The sale or purchase of deeds may be applied to service hours, up to twenty-five hours. This is at a rate of 2 deeds per 1 hour.
