Thirtieth Annual Turkey Shoot

Dear Parents and Friends,

The thirtieth annual "Turkey Shoot" give away, sponsored by the Friends of Saint Jude, will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 7:30 pm in the School Hall. Each year this has been financially successful because of your hard work and dedication.

Tickets have been mailed to all Parishioners, and due to the excellent results in the past, we are again sending tickets home with the children. If you nee additional tickets, they are available at the school and rectory. We ask that you return completed ticket stubs, money and any unused tickets to the school, marked turkey shoot.

This party is an adult event that is a lot of fun! The prizes are delicious and the tickets sell quite easily. It also gives us an opportunity to invite friends and Parishioners to join us for a social evening. Cold drinks, coffee and baked goods will also be offered for a nominal charge.

A notice for volunteers to work and or bake for the event was sent home in the packet. In the past, the eight grade students were invited to come and assist with the passing out of prizes.
